The two spreadsheets below are the same. One works with Excel 97, the other with Excel 5.0/Excel 95.
It calculates the speed in a given gear at maximum RPM (red line) given the circumference of the rear tire, the primary drive ratio, the transmission ratio(s), and the front/rear sprocket ratios.
It is setup for my 1996 TZ250 gearing and ratios, but you can easily modify it for your own bike. If you have any questions, please email me. My email address is at the bottom of the page.
